At the Energy Consulting Group, we strive to be the premier provider of market-focused, process-centered demand management consulting to our customers. Everything we do reflects this mission and the values that make it possible, while providing a dynamic and challenging environment for our employees.
Demand Management Consulting Services
Our clients initiate the development of a Demand Response (“DR”) strategy and program offering for a number of reasons; e.g. Regulatory, Environmental, Reliability, Market Economics, etc. Depending on the objectives for evaluating the development of a set of Demand Response programs – either as a supply-side resource or a value-add to expand the capability of demand-side program offerings to end-use customers – our Demand Response consulting services comprise three broad offerings: Business Case Development and Program Strategy, Program Design and Product Development, and Program Implementation and Product Management.
Within these three consulting offerings, we provide a range of services depending on the work required to successfully deploy a Demand Response Initiative. The work required is driven by the maturity of the utilities’ Demand Response function, ranging from start-up to market leading. The following diagram highlights how the consulting services combine within our solution framework to enable our consultants to provide an end-to-end capability for delivering successful projects for utilities across the range of Demand Response needs, from initial strategy development to program refreshes to technology modernization.
